4. my semester is completely over with, exams and all, in one week.
5. my school career should be completed within the next three semesters.
6. Lord willing, that is.

12. at one point i knew the date is was created.
13. but, i forgot it.
14. i'm on my second cup of coffee today.
16. and i'm very much looking forward to 6:30 tomorrow night.
17. on Saturday I'm headed to T-Town to do a photo shoot
18. an all girls photo shoot.
19. i think it'll be a blast :)

Vicksburg Reflected

Last weekend, Matt and I went to Vicksburg - he had to take the FE (a miserable intense eight hour exam) I walked around downtown. Gloria, thank you so much for walking around with me! I so enjoyed spending time with you :)

this was the perfect bookstore, complete with three cats.

i took this picture inside of Coffee House 61. If you go to Vicksburg, you need to go there. i'm pretty sure the people in here thought I was a stalker but it is that awesome.

happy birthday, blog

I have a confession. I don't know the exact date I started this blog. I do know that it was around this time last year because my first post was about how I'm wondering what I'm doing with my life, what I'm supposed to by majoring in.... all that good stuff.  Well, now I have a major, (and a husband!!) but I'm still wondering what I'm going with my life. It's all good though. :)

My real point in writing this post is to thank all of you who have read, commented, follow, this blog. I'm not exactly sure why I started it and what my intentions are with it, but I appreciate all of you, more than you know.

about the flowers

 I love that they are taped together because according to him, they weren't able to be arranged very well. They just kept flopping over. I love that they are in a Newk's cup. It somehow makes them more practical. And what I love most is that they are from him.

It was the perfect getaway. We ate good food, hung out with friends, shopped, and slept late. I read while he climbed. I even got my rings cleaned. But most of all, we relaxed. No laptops, no assignments, no flash cards to memorize. I was inspired and he was rejuvenated. And it was lovely.

the week before

It's the week before spring break and I think it's safe to say all are utterly worn out. Simple tasks have become complicated, creative juices have stopped flowing, exhaustion has taken over and pushing through is all anyone is thinking about. That's the case, for me anyways. However, it's times like this that grace can be most appreciated, especially in the little things. I was driving home from the grocery store and on a non christian radio station the DJ asked what makes today a good day. A caller answered "God. He makes all days good, and gives us grace when they aren't." Amen.
